Administrator (Procurement)

Job Overview

This position is responsible for efficiently managing administrative functions within the Procurement Department, specifically in the areas of fuel, lubricants, automotive products, and gas.


Minimum Education & Training Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

Minimum Work Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Management

  • Maintain supplier records
  • Manage rebates
  • Oversee supplier contract pricing

Product Management

  • List and delist products as needed
  • Monitor product margins and take corrective action
  • Update monthly fuel and gas prices

Branch Support

  • Facilitate online petrol attendant training
  • Assist with stock orders
  • Coordinate promotions
  • Resolve claims-related queries

Reporting & Administration

  • Generate and manipulate Excel reports using the K8 system
  • Import updated data into K8
  • Handle general administrative tasks and ad hoc duties

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Solid product knowledge
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of COC/ROD
  • Valid driver’s licence is mandatory
