Introduction
We are a retail department store offering a diverse range of products including, but not limited to, Homeware, Home Décor, Party Accessories, Office Supplies, Stationery, Toys, Sports Equipment, Pet Accessories, and Health & Beauty items.
We are currently seeking a General Worker for our store located in Crown Mines, Johannesburg.
The successful candidate will report to the Store Supervisor or Store Manager and will be responsible for stock handling, maintaining store cleanliness, assisting customers, and supporting day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offload incoming stock deliveries
- Unpack and neatly arrange stock on shelves
- Provide assistance to customers on the shop floor
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the store
- Perform general cleaning tasks as required
Requirements:
- 3–4 years of experience in customer service
- Prior retail experience is essential
- At least 2–3 years of merchandising experience
- Good verbal communication skills
- Clear criminal record
- Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays
- Access to reliable transport
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Compensation:
- R28.79 per hour
