Role Overview: Logistics Operations
As part of our General Logistics Operations team, you will work across multiple areas to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant warehouse processes. This role involves teamwork, inventory handling, order processing, compliance with regulations, and asset care.
Key Responsibilities
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate effectively across functions and support a cohesive team environment.
- Actively participate in health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
- Provide backup support to the Warehouse Stock Controller as needed.
- Follow instructions from the Team Leader and contribute to a high-performing, safe workspace.
Inventory & Order Management
- Accurately record stock movements in the Movex system.
- Process stock according to pick slips and return documentation.
- Ensure traceability by signing and timestamping all transactions.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and prepare aisles for audits.
- Handle and store hazardous and high-value stock according to SOPs.
- Pick orders accurately in line with standard procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Report daily order completion and any damaged, expired, or discrepant stock items.
- Maintain security and prevent losses by keeping high-risk areas locked.
Compliance & Quality
- Follow all procedures related to inventory handling, health and safety, GMP/GDP, and housekeeping.
- Wear and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly.
- Participate in quality initiatives to ensure compliance and readiness for audits.
- Ensure possession of a valid forklift license when operating equipment.
Asset & Equipment Management
- Keep the warehouse tidy and infrastructure intact.
- Operate material handling equipment per SOPs and report faults promptly.
- Prevent damage through responsible handling of stock and equipment.
- Assist in stock counts and contribute to a safe and damage-free work environment.
Entry-Level Requirements
- No prior experience necessary—training is provided.
- Tasks are routine and follow set procedures.
- Continuous supervision and limited communication required.
