Position Overview
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Code 10 (C1/EC) Driver with a valid Public Driving Permit (PDP). The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, timely, and hygienic delivery and collection of goods while ensuring proper vehicle and stock management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure prompt and professional delivery of goods in accordance with company standards
- Maintain hygiene and safety protocols throughout the delivery process
- Transport all goods (deliveries, returns, and pickups) at appropriate and regulated temperatures
- Oversee the proper use and condition of the vehicle and manage all items in transit
- Take accountability for the vehicle, cargo, van assistant, fuel card, and all related documentation
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid Code C1/EC driver’s license with a current PDP (Public Driving Permit)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar driving role
- Proven track record of reliability and professionalism in handling deliveries
