Monthly Salary: R6,500 – R9,500
Introduction
Our client, a reputable company in the printing and signage industry based in Cape Town, is looking for a reliable and professional Code 10 Driver with a valid PrDP to join their team on a 3-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport printing and signage materials to clients and suppliers safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload stock, ensuring all items are verified before and after deliveries.
- Follow delivery schedules and ensure punctual, accurate service.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and in good working condition.
- Comply with all road safety laws and internal transport policies.
- Support the logistics and warehouse teams with general duties as needed.
- Represent the company professionally through neat appearance and courteous behavior.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch, sales teams, and customers.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license with Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar driving role
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Presentable, professional, and customer-focused
- Friendly, with strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Durban’s road network (advantageous)
- Ability to handle and secure cargo responsibly
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
