Role Purpose:

The Distribution Support Administrator is responsible for delivering accurate, prompt administrative support to Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs), their staff, and Momentum consultants. This role plays a vital part in ensuring operational efficiency and seamless service delivery.


Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A qualification in Office Administration or a Business-related field (Degree or NQF Level 7)

Experience:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in the financial services industry (essential)
  • Insurance industry background (advantageous)
  • Experience within the Momentum Distribution Services (MDS) Sales environment (beneficial)

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Service Support

  • Manage the end-to-end process of new business applications with minimal revisions.
  • Prepare and submit quotes and relevant documentation in line with compliance requirements.
  • Ensure applications are processed efficiently, logged, and tracked using internal systems.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within activity management platforms.
  • Actively manage the new business pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of outstanding requirements.
  • Support consultants with relevant reports, updates on pipeline business, and meeting preparation.
  • Provide training and support to IFAs and their staff on digital tools such as Power BI and Campaign Master.
  • Serve as a primary contact for digital platform navigation support.
  • Escalate system or process issues appropriately and suggest enhancements to improve client experience.
  • Deliver excellent turnaround time and service standards during escalations and complex case resolutions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support IFAs and consultants with relevant business insights and regular updates.
  • Provide professional service aligned with Momentum’s client service standards and ethical principles.
  • Share feedback and recommendations to improve service delivery and fair client treatment.
  • Represent the business with professionalism during all engagements.
