Position: Personal Assistant to the General Manager

Position Overview
A vacancy exists for a Personal Assistant (PA) to the General Manager within the Guarding Division, based at the Robertville office. This role is responsible for delivering high-level administrative, secretarial, and coordination support to the GM, ensuring the efficient operation of daily tasks and business activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant post-school qualification in Administration or Secretarial Studies
- 3–5 years’ experience as a PA or Administrator supporting senior/executive management
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary
- Clean criminal record and no pending legal matters
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Self-starter with a high level of motivation and energy
- Valid driver’s license with reliable personal transport
- Willing to travel when required
- Must reside in or near the Roodepoort/Krugersdorp area
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Manage the GM’s diary, appointments, and client engagements
- Provide general office and administrative support
- Handle all email correspondence and written communication
- Screen incoming calls and take detailed messages
- Take minutes at key meetings and engagements
- Uphold confidentiality protocols at all times
- Liaise with various stakeholders across the business unit
- Consolidate and compile management reports on a weekly and monthly basis
- Type and format documents, reports, and presentations
- Assist with resolving day-to-day operational queries and provide administrative coordination for the area of responsibility
