Driver (Code 10 – Professional) – Germiston

Introduction:
Phakisa Holdings is seeking a skilled Code 10 Professional Driver for our Germiston operations. The role involves the safe, timely transport of hazardous and non-hazardous chemical and oil products, while strictly adhering to road safety laws and internal compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Code 10 trucks to deliver fuel, oil, and chemical products.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and compliance.
- Ensure accurate completion of all delivery documentation (e.g., logbooks, trip sheets).
- Safely load and unload hazardous materials, following regulatory guidelines.
- Stick to scheduled routes and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a clean driving record and report any issues or incidents immediately.
- Conduct routine checks and report mechanical problems or vehicle faults.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies, including proper PPE usage.
Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license with PrDP (Dangerous Goods).
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience transporting hazardous substances (fuel, oil, chemicals).
- Clean criminal and driving record.
- Must successfully complete medical and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid assessment letter is required.
