Introduction
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Code 10 Driver to join our dynamic team at a reputable construction and interior company located in Paarl, Cape Town. The successful candidate should have a proven history in transportation and deliveries, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport materials, goods, and equipment safely to and from various project sites.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Perform routine checks and maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the company vehicle.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues or concerns.
- Comply with all traffic laws and adhere strictly to company safety procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support overall logistical operations.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License (PDP is advantageous but not mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience in a driving or delivery role within the construction or interior fit-out sector.
- Strong familiarity with Cape Town and surrounding routes.
- Efficient route planning and time management skills.
- Solid communication abilities and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to operate with minimal supervision.
- Flexible availability, including willingness to work overtime when required.
Compensation
- R8,000 per month (Cost to Company)
