Introduction
An opportunity has become available for a Code 14 Driver within the Warehouse Department at Quality Products – Cornubia. The successful candidate will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and will play a key role in ensuring efficient and compliant transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries
- Comply with all road regulations and traffic laws at all times
- Maintain continuous communication with the warehouse base
- Complete daily vehicle inspection checklists
- Report any issues, delays, or incidents immediately
- Submit routine maintenance and vehicle condition reports
- Monitor weather and traffic conditions to optimize route planning
- Provide guidance and training to team members aspiring to take on this role
- Ensure that all driving licenses and certifications are current and meet the minimum legal requirements
- Adhere strictly to company health and safety protocols
- Supply certified documentation and extracts to relevant stakeholders when required
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 14 driver’s license
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
