Position: General Administrator
Location: George
Salary: R10 000
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented General Administrator to join our team in George. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Xero and SimplePay, and will be responsible for managing stock records and processing payroll on a fortnightly basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately load and maintain stock data in the system
- Reconcile stock movements and investigate any discrepancies
- Process fortnightly payroll using SimplePay, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain up-to-date employee records, manage leave tracking, and ensure adherence to labour regulations
- Perform general administrative functions, including data entry, document management, and internal communication
- Capture and reconcile supplier invoices and payments using Xero
- Generate basic financial reports and summaries
- Liaise with suppliers, employees, and management to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
Requirements
- 1–2 years of proven experience in an administrative role
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Experience with the SimplePay payroll system
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- High level of computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, and email)
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with stock or inventory management systems
- Basic knowledge of South African HR or payroll legislation
- Previous experience in a small business or retail environment
