Job Title: Operations Administrator
Location: Boksburg
Salary: R20,000 Cost to Company (Negotiable based on experience)


Introduction

We are a well-established and fast-growing truck parts company based in Boksburg, seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic woman (mid-20s to early 30s) to join our energetic operations team.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, particularly when working with figures and Excel formulas. This role requires someone who can perform under pressure, manage tasks independently, and contribute positively within a team-driven environment.

Please note: Own transport is essential, as occasional overtime may be required. Professional presentation and a proactive attitude are also key attributes for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Manager with international import processes
  • Create and maintain supplier shipment files, order histories, and costings
  • Register new items in the ERP system (SAP)
  • Generate and manage purchase orders in SAP
  • Receive stock and calculate landed costs within SAP
  • Coordinate inter-branch stock transfers
  • Address stock-related queries for incoming shipments
  • Support claims processes for overseas suppliers
  • Monitor and track shipments from global suppliers
  • Handle various general administrative tasks

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years of administrative experience with a strong Excel focus
  • Solid Excel skills; experience with formulas is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
  • Own reliable transport
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
