Location: Cape Town
Position: Driver (Code 10 with PrDP) – 3-Month Contract
Our client, based in Cape Town, is looking for a reliable and experienced Code 10 Driver (with a valid PrDP) to join their team on a three-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport signage and printing products safely to and from customers and suppliers.
- Load and unload stock, ensuring all goods are accounted for before and after delivery.
- Follow delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, well-maintained, and in roadworthy condition.
- Comply with road safety rules and internal transport policies.
- Assist in general warehouse and logistics operations when needed.
- Represent the company professionally by maintaining a neat appearance and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch, sales, and clients throughout the delivery process.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license with a current Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar driving role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Professional, well-groomed, and customer-focused
- Friendly with good interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Durban routes and road networks
- Capable of securing and handling goods safely
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Salary: R6,500 – R9,500 per month
