Introduction
SA Metal Group is South Africa’s oldest and largest metal recycling company. Established over 105 years ago, the Group purchases and processes a wide range of ferrous metals (such as steel and iron) and non-ferrous metals (including aluminium, copper, zinc, stainless steel, brass, and more). These materials are sourced from industrial businesses, scrap dealers, and private individuals. The Group operates state-of-the-art processing facilities in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Pretoria.

Position Responsibilities
- Accurately and promptly prepare and process supplier payments
- Ensure correct application of all payment details
- Maintain and update payment records in internal systems
- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding payment queries
- Provide general administrative support to the payments team
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- NQF Level 6 (Diploma) in Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a payments or invoicing role
- Sound understanding of EFT payments and VAT application
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel), internet, WhatsApp, and email
