Position: Warehouse Driver
Purpose:
The Warehouse Driver will be responsible for delivering goods to customer locations and maintaining accurate delivery records. When not on deliveries, this role will assist with general warehouse duties to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving Duties:
- Perform all delivery functions safely and professionally
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Check vehicle for fuel, oil, water, and safety before departure
- Maintain accurate logs before and after each trip; report incidents or accidents promptly
- Keep vehicle clean inside and out
- Read and follow maps or GPS to ensure efficient routing
- Adhere to all South African traffic laws and road regulations
- Represent the company professionally and maintain a strong customer service presence
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team leader or manager
Warehouse Support Duties:
- Follow all warehouse processes and work instructions
- Assist with stock picking for dispatch orders
- Support the receiving team with stock checks and binning
- Ensure stock accuracy at all times
- Participate in regular cycle counts and stock takes
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
Health & Safety:
- Operate equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Conduct safety checks on lifting equipment before use
- Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to the team lead
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with a valid PDP (minimum two years)
- 2–5 years of driving experience in a similar industry
- Certified in operating warehouse lifting equipment (e.g., forklift, turret truck, pallet jack)
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Clean and safe driving record
- Proficient in English (verbal and written communication)

- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of South African traffic laws and road signage
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify vehicle maintenance needs
- Competence in operating warehouse equipment
- Professionalism in customer and team interactions
