Full Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing, organizing, and storing inventory, as well as packaging, scanning, and preparing orders for dispatch. We seek a motivated, team-oriented individual dedicated to operational excellence and customer satisfaction, while adhering to company procedures and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling:
- Load, unload, transport, and store products and materials using manual tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Organize and prepare materials for production or shipping according to schedules and priorities.
Inventory Management:
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks to maintain accuracy.
- Verify material quantities, ensure proper labeling, documentation, and storage.
- Ensure items are correctly placed in designated bins daily.
Shipping and Receiving:
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and possible damage.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation promptly.
- Ensure Goods Received Notes (GRNs) match orders with correct items and quantities.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures to avoid workplace accidents.
- Perform pre-use equipment inspections and report any malfunctions.
Team Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with teammates, supervisors, and other departments.
- Support the training of new team members as needed.
Housekeeping:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Properly dispose of waste and recycling materials.
Safety Compliance:
- Always operate in a safe manner in line with company standards.
- Conduct safety checks on lifting equipment prior to use.
- Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately to the Team Lead.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Required Experience:
- Completed Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Possession of a valid license for operating lifting equipment (Forklift, Reach Truck, Pallet Jack).
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and stretch as needed, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.

- Proficient in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
