Position Overview:
A Property Administrator opportunity is available at a well-established property company based in Pretoria, managing a diverse portfolio primarily across Pretoria and Johannesburg. The role is suited for a junior-level professional responsible for providing administrative support, coordinating activities, and assisting with reporting functions to ensure efficient property operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Portfolio Manager with scheduling meetings, retrieving and storing documents, attending meetings on their behalf, and providing feedback on key portfolio and development matters.
- Assist in leasing vacant spaces within multi-tenanted properties.
- Handle tenant communications in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance schedules for all building-related systems and equipment.
- Contribute to the valuation of property opportunities and assist with annual portfolio evaluations.
- Liaise with municipal officials regarding service-related matters.
- Maintain proper storage and regular updates of all property-related documents.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
Candidate Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- Diploma (a Degree in Property Studies or a related field is advantageous).
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in property administration or a similar role.
