Administrative Assistant

Position: Administrative Assistant to Bookkeeper
Location: East Rand, Gauteng (Own transport required)

Introduction:
We are seeking a dynamic and well-spoken Administrative Assistant to support our current Bookkeeper with a range of day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, calling, emailing, and typing. Fluency in both Afrikaans and English is essential. Candidates must reside in the East Rand area and have their own reliable transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support across various functions
  • Operate office equipment such as printers, copiers, fax machines, and multimedia tools
  • Maintain and update company records and documents
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding statements, invoices, and accounts
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient information flow and timely product delivery
  • Capture Cashbook transactions using Pastel
  • Process supplier invoices and credit notes on Pastel

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • A solid understanding of accounting and financial principles
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and email systems such as Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of organization
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail

Remuneration:
R12 000 – R15 000 per month, based on current CTC and relevant experience
