Job Description: Packing Operator
Purpose of the Role
To efficiently package finished products in accordance with quality standards while meeting operational throughput targets in a food-safe and hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various packing machines to package finished products.
- Achieve production targets per shift.
- Continuously monitor and record quality results.
- Maintain a clean, food-safe, and hygienic workspace at all times.
- Promptly report production downtime to the supervisor or manager.
- Record and analyze downtime causes.
- Perform deep cleaning of machinery and work areas.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
- Actively participate in and facilitate Invocom™ meetings.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Matric / Grade 12.
- Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in the milling industry.
- 3–4 years of experience as a packing operator.
Key Working Conditions
- Work environment: Hot and noisy milling environment.
- Requires flexibility to work beyond normal hours, including overtime.
- Involves working with and on heavy mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Shift work required.
