Position: Travel Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to the travel agency team.
  • Assisting with customer inquiries and booking requests.
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases and records.
  • Handling incoming phone calls and emails professionally.
  • Processing travel reservations, including flights, accommodations, and tours.
  • Preparing and distributing travel itineraries and documents.
  • Assisting with invoicing, billing, and payment processing.
  • Monitoring office supplies and reordering when necessary.
  • Keeping the office environment organized and tidy.
  • Assisting in filing and organizing travel-related documents.
  • Collaborating with team members on various administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of the travel industry would be advantageous.
  • Competence in using WETU.
  • Initial understanding and knowledge of tour operations.
  • Good knowledge of the South African landscape and culture.
  • Calm and professional manner in servicing agents and guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: R6,000.00 – R10,000.00 per month

Expected Hours: 16 – 24 per week

Expected Start Date: 2024/03/01
