Full Job Description:
Position: Travel Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the travel agency team.
- Assisting with customer inquiries and booking requests.
- Maintaining and updating customer databases and records.
- Handling incoming phone calls and emails professionally.
- Processing travel reservations, including flights, accommodations, and tours.
- Preparing and distributing travel itineraries and documents.
- Assisting with invoicing, billing, and payment processing.
- Monitoring office supplies and reordering when necessary.
- Keeping the office environment organized and tidy.
- Assisting in filing and organizing travel-related documents.
- Collaborating with team members on various administrative tasks.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of the travel industry would be advantageous.
- Competence in using WETU.
- Initial understanding and knowledge of tour operations.
- Good knowledge of the South African landscape and culture.
- Calm and professional manner in servicing agents and guests.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: R6,000.00 – R10,000.00 per month
Expected Hours: 16 – 24 per week
Expected Start Date: 2024/03/01
