Office Assistant at ITAD Africa

Introduction

ITAD AFRICA (Pty) Ltd specializes in assisting leading organizations in South Africa with the disposal of obsolete Information Technology (IT) Assets and other electronic and electric equipment.

We are currently seeking a disciplined and self-driven Office Assistant to join our Centurion team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive and distribute communications; collect and mail correspondence.
  • Copy and store important documents and records.
  • Maintain an inventory of office supplies, anticipate supply needs, ensure prompt ordering and receipt of supplies, and deliver supplies to workstations as needed.
  • Provide office communications support by fielding calls, answering questions, forwarding messages, confirming customer orders, and keeping customers informed of order status.
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting failures, calling for repairs, monitoring equipment operation, and purchasing meter funds.
  • Maintain the office schedule by picking up and delivering items as needed.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Enhance the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience in scheduling and meeting planning.
  • Telephone skills.
  • Typing and word processing skills.
  • Documentation skills.

  • Attention to detail.
  • Administrative writing and reporting skills.
  • High school diploma.
  • Driver’s license.
  • One to two years of office assistant experience.

Package & Remuneration

8-10k based on experience.
