We are seeking a Cleaner for the Hospitality Industry, dedicated to performing day-to-day housekeeping services to ensure a clean and appealing facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s and statutory regulations regarding cleanliness in all tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the scullery and uphold hygiene and safety standards consistently.
  • Preserve the Company’s standards of hygiene for crockery, cutlery, glassware, kitchen and dining room utensils.
  • Handle refuse removal from the scullery area.
  • Assist in various unit areas when required, responding to reasonable requests from management.
  • Clean fridges in walk-in cold rooms.
  • Avoid leaving cleaning agents in public areas.
  • Place safety signs/boards where cleaning is in progress.
  • Keep the outside area of the store clean and inviting.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the back of the store, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in various unit areas during less busy periods.
  • Clean food preparation equipment, floors, and other kitchen tools or areas.
  • Clean walls and windows.
  • Clean and disinfect laundry, kitchen, toilet, and bathroom fixtures.
  • Assist with any other duties outside the scope of responsibilities when required.

  • Matric.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital as a General Assistant would be advantageous.
