Responsibilities:
The incumbent is accountable for the efficient maintenance of administrative functions within the Procurement Department, encompassing Seed, Fertilizer, Agri Chemicals, and Irrigation.
Required Minimum Education/Training:
- Grade 12
Required Minimum Work Experience:
- 1 year of administration experience
Key Performance Areas:
Supplier Management:
- Registering new suppliers
- Maintaining price lists
- Managing supplier data and documents
- Claiming rebates
Product Management:
- Registering and discontinuing products
- Managing correct and timely price changes
- Monitoring and taking corrective action on margins
Order Management:
- Managing Proagrica reports daily
- Arranging and placing bulk orders
- Maintaining positive relationships with branches and suppliers, resolving queries
- Generating Excel reports from the K8 system, reworking data, and importing revised data into the K8 system.
Technical Knowledge/Competencies:
