Our CFAO MOBILITY Division encompasses the most extensive vehicle retail network in Africa. We cater to all sectors requiring mobility solutions with a comprehensive multi-brand offering, collaborating closely with global automotive manufacturers. Our services range from sales of new and used vehicles to short or long-term rentals, fleet management, and maintenance.

Our Offer includes a complete automotive suite, encompassing two-wheelers, marine engines, coaches, lorries, handling equipment, tires, and spare parts. Through our production and assembly sites in Africa, we actively support industrialization in the region while providing affordable options.

We are currently seeking a Driver (M/F) based in South Africa.

Purpose of Position: To conduct driving duties efficiently and promptly, adhering to instructions for deliveries and collections.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Valid, unendorsed driver’s license with appropriate vehicle codes (EB, EC, or EC1).
  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • Satisfactory visual, hearing, and health capabilities to carry out work responsibilities legally.
  • Minimum of twelve months’ driving experience in a similar position, involving collections and deliveries for a company.

Profile Request:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Report daily to a designated duty controller as instructed by management.
  • Deliver and collect various items such as customers, mail/post, parts, vehicles, and specific equipment as directed by the controller.
  • Assist in cleaning and preparing vehicles when necessary.
  • Perform duties efficiently and punctually without violating traffic laws.
  • Ensure the safekeeping of company assets under your control at all times.
  • Complete log sheets after each trip.
  • Ensure all vehicles are securely locked and parked under cover after hours.
  • Maintain a neat appearance at all times.
  • Refrain from smoking or eating in company or customer vehicles.
  • Prohibit private passengers from traveling in the vehicle.
  • Avoid using company or customer vehicles for personal use.
  • Report any accidents immediately to the manager and relevant authorities.
  • Assist in ferrying vehicles from the wash bay to parking areas.
  • Undertake any ad hoc administrative or other responsibilities as needed.
