Coastal Hardware is currently seeking an organized and proactive individual to assume the role of Personal Assistant/Driver. The ideal candidate should not only excel in administrative and driving tasks but also bring valuable sales expertise to contribute to the company’s ongoing growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Personal Assistant Duties:

  • Efficiently manage the sales manager’s schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls with professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and meeting minutes as required.
  • Maintain an organized filing system and ensure timely task completion.

Driver Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport the sales manager to various locations throughout Mauritius for meetings and appointments.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in optimal working condition.
  • Plan routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and punctuality.
  • Assist with errands and deliveries as necessary.

Sales Support:

  • Apply sales skills to identify opportunities and promote company products to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to gather market intelligence and contribute to sales strategies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and cultivate strong relationships with clients.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  • Proven experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role.
  • Sales experience in the building materials industry is highly desirable.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with basic office software and tools.

Package & Remuneration: The position offers a market-related salary ranging between MUR 18,000 to 20,000 per month, contingent on experience.
