Job Description:
Motus Toyota Bryanston currently has an opening for a Light Duty Driver.
In this role, reporting to the Service Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out all driving tasks and providing assistance with any other reasonable duties as needed.
Position Overview: Specific Role Responsibilities:
- Collecting vehicles from various locations, including other branches, customers, and external suppliers.
- Delivering vehicles to outside suppliers, other branches, customers, and any other specified destinations.
- Conducting thorough checks on delivery vehicles for damage, defects, missing parts, spare wheel, and spanners, promptly reporting findings to the Manager.
- Ensuring vehicles are locked and assessing them for defects and general roadworthiness.
- Performing any other reasonable duties assigned by the department.
- Reporting all accidents and traffic offenses to the Manager immediately.
- Being available for overtime work as required.
- Taking vehicles for roadworthy inspections.
- Assisting customers on the showroom floor.
- Helping customers locate vehicles during the collection process.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of Grade 12 education.
- Valid driver’s license with PDP.
- Clear criminal record.
