Customer Delivery Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders in pristine condition.
  • Assemble customer items as required.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately, including obtaining customer signatures on Proof of Delivery (POD).
  • Demonstrate courteousness to customers and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Promptly report any customer queries or complaints to the office.

Vehicle Management:

  • Maintain the vehicle in optimal condition and ensure cleanliness.
  • Conduct pre and post-use vehicle inspections.
  • Report any damages or incidents promptly.
  • Safeguard fuel cards and receipts.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, refraining from driving under the influence of alcohol and abstaining from cell phone use while driving.

Personal Attributes:

  • Exhibit punctuality and sobriety in behavior.
  • Possess effective communication and writing skills.
  • Display willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain professionalism, personal hygiene, and adhere to uniform standards.
  • Demonstrate agility and meticulous attention to detail.


  • High school diploma (Matric), with additional tertiary qualifications preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP) for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Prior experience in warehouse and distribution center operations is advantageous.

Preference may be given to candidates from designated groups as outlined in the Employment Equity Act, though this is not exclusive.
