We are in search of a dependable Driver who prioritizes customer satisfaction and ensures the safe and timely transportation of goods. The Driver’s responsibilities include picking up and delivering items according to assigned routes and schedules while guaranteeing accurate and secure delivery to the designated clients.
To excel as a Marley Driver, you must be courteous and punctual, committed to providing clients with an exceptional experience. Your attention to detail, dedication to safety, and enthusiasm for satisfying clients are crucial for success in this role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete the daily vehicle checklist.
- Maintain the vehicles in good condition at all times.
- Fuel vehicles at designated fuel stations with e-tags, returning diesel slips to the office.
- Adhere to road traffic rules consistently.
- Thoroughly check stock with the loader’s copy during loading.
- Load and secure products accurately.
- Assist in offloading products at customer locations.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
- Plan routes efficiently to optimize delivery processes.
- Conduct deliveries during standard working hours to minimize overtime.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Grade 10-12 Certificate or NQF equivalent in Plastics manufacturing with Mathematics/Maths literacy highly advantageous.
- Code 10 and PDP.
- 3-5 years of driving experience is advantageous.
