Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 qualification
- Valid Code 10 motor vehicle license
- Willingness to travel off-site and potentially stay overnight
- Ability to work in confined spaces
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive delivery vehicle in adherence to road traffic regulations (AARTO) and Clover’s driver standard procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Perform Pre and Post Trip inspections, reporting any deviations, accidents, damage, or malfunctions.
- Follow assigned route plan and logging procedures at delivery destinations.
- Deliver stock while ensuring product integrity and adherence to customer specifications.
- Control containers such as pallets and crates during delivery.
- Collect and securely handle cash transactions.
- Implement stock recheck procedures as required.
- Return authorized products maintaining the cold chain and adhering to Principal return standards.
- Perform administrative tasks including verifying invoices, ensuring complete documentation, and supervising subordinates’ safety aspects.
