Driver (Airport)

The Europcar Airport Branch in Midrand presents an opportunity for a permanent Driver: Light Duty position. Position Overview: This role aims to provide efficient, friendly customer service and ensure every renter receives a vehicle promptly meeting our quality and safety criteria.

Specific Role Responsibilities: Job Outputs:

Thorough cleaning of vehicle interiors and exteriors to uphold our high standards. Ensuring vehicle quality control, identifying and reporting issues such as expired licenses that do not meet our standards. Refueling vehicles, checking tire pressure, oil, water, and other fluids after each rental. Delivering vehicles to customers following our procedures. Conducting vehicle check-ins per company, quality control, and claims protocols. Maintaining cleanliness of the yard and surrounding areas. Upholding the company’s integrity by ethical behavior and safeguarding business assets and customer interests. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience: Minimum Experience:

At least 2 years of relevant driving experience. Minimum Qualification:

NQF Level 4 (Grade 12 or equivalent). Minimum Requirements:

Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (minimum 2 years old). Basic computer literacy. Proficiency in reading maps.

Essential to Note: The successful candidate must be willing to work overtime, shifts, and weekends when required.

Effective communication skills, fluency in English (reading and writing). Strong interpersonal skills for excellent face-to-face customer relations. Ability to handle pressure, exhibit good time management, and demonstrate urgency and commitment. A team player.
