About Us: We’re seeking a Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will excel in providing exceptional service by promptly and accurately processing transactions. The Cashier will be responsible for cashiering duties, restocking beverages and supplies, and assisting with general food service tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly, prioritizing their needs and ensuring they feel valued.
  • Address all customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness around the cashier stations and ensure operational readiness.
  • Count cash floats, verify sufficient change, and ensure printer supplies are adequate.
  • Organize and replenish stock in the resale area daily, ensuring proper display and stocking of fridges and shelves.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the front-of-house area.
  • Perform cash drawer counts at the start of shifts to verify accuracy and ensure adequate change availability.
  • Complete daily cash-up procedures accurately and thoroughly according to standards.
  • Issue receipts to customers and provide correct change; address any discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in the smooth operation of front-of-house activities.
  • Support both front-of-house and back-of-house teams with order processing.
  • Assist with cleaning tasks during slow periods.
  • Prepare daily sales analysis reports and maintain a tidy counter.
  • Coordinate end-of-shift cash-ups with the Admin Assistant/Admin Manager. Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Confidence in handling monetary transactions.
  • Strong operational skills with point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to manage cash effectively.

  • Friendly and helpful attitude. Qualifications:
  • Completion of at least secondary education (Standard 10).
  • Grade 12 qualification is advantageous for applicants.
