Normandien Farms (Pty) Ltd, the proud proprietors of Tekwani and Thirsti brands, are in search of an exceptional Accountant to become part of their expanding and dynamic enterprise. This role will be stationed on-site within our central services team located at Thornville, near Pietermaritzburg (not remote), and will directly report to the Group Financial Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Management of fixed assets.
- Accounting and reconciliation of Instalment Sale Agreements.
- Oversight of fuel administration and meticulous record-keeping.
- Calculations for diesel rebates.
- Handling inventory accounting for round logs and lumber.
- Implementing stock valuation adjustments.
- Conducting general ledger reconciliations.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Possession of an Accounting or Finance Degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in an accounting capacity.
- Preferable background in the farming and/or manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency in Evolution and/or Syspro software is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 365 and Sharepoint.
