Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the efficient customer delivery operations by minimizing costs.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of inventory.
- Maintain communication with customers.
- Handle general administrative tasks.
- Ensure the protection of company assets.
- Provide occasional supervision to subordinates.
- Adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols.
- Load and unload empty containers.
- Manage returns from customers.
- Organize stock and containers as necessary.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma (Grade 12)
Professional Experience and Personal Qualities
- Possession of a valid Code 14 (EC License).
- Possession of a valid PDP (Professional Drivers Permit).
- 2-3 years of experience in Transport Distribution.
- 2-3 years of experience driving a horse and trailer combination.
- Proficiency in English language (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Numerical proficiency.
- Availability for overtime, including weekends and holidays.
- Customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with the STRATO delivery app is advantageous.
