Job Purpose: To ensure the administration, maintenance, and support of relevant processes to meet departmental and business requirements in alignment with the Group’s strategy. Support business operations by administering relevant processes to meet business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by conducting processing activities within agreed timelines and parameters.
  • Ensure accuracy of processing activities to minimize financial and reputational risks.
  • Minimize operational costs by avoiding unnecessary expenditures.
  • Respond to and action queries within agreed SLAs to satisfy internal and external clients.
  • Communicate with stakeholders (including Regulators) to meet Nedbank internal and external client service standards.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders through regular interaction to understand and meet their needs.
  • Minimize risk by checking and validating activities according to policies and procedures.
  • Administer relevant processes by following procedures.
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies promptly to ensure accuracy.
  • Report exceptions promptly to highlight risks.
  • Stay updated on legislation and industry changes affecting the role.
  • Demonstrate Nedbank Vision and Values through interactions with team and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to team goals through personal contribution and participation.
  • Manage own career progression through guidance and support from management, department, and colleagues.
  • Improve personal capability and stay updated in the field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression opportunities.
  • Complete learning activities, practice experience, and maintain certifications within specified time frames.
  • Share knowledge with the team to ensure knowledge management, continuity, and team success.
  • Participate in Nedbank Culture building initiatives and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, recommend improvements, and support implementation of tools, policies, and procedures to add value to Nedbank.

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level:

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification:

  • Relevant Banking Diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience Level:

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in Business Administration
