Junior Administrator at tiAuto Investments

Introduction: A renowned tire retailer seeks to hire a Junior Store Administrator with a minimum of 6 to 12 months of experience in a similar role within the retail sector. The incumbent will assist the Administrator in handling administrative tasks within the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, prompt telephone responses, efficient payment processing, and accurate upkeep of all relevant administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payments and issue receipts courteously and professionally.
  • Compile and organize credit notes.
  • Handle incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner, redirecting them as necessary.
  • Manage the processing of goods received vouchers (GRVs) and goods returned slips (GRS).
  • Facilitate inter-branch transfers (IBTs).
  • Handle insurance coverage information, including Contisure.
  • Obtain authorization for GRV audit trails and IBT movement reports before filing.
  • Maintain orderly filing of invoices and credit notes.
  • Keep all filing systems up to date.
  • Prepare electronic funds transfer (EFT) documentation for approval.
  • Upload Discovery Insure checks when required.
  • Take action on proof of delivery (POD), invoices, and order requests as per departmental requisitions.
  • Update demonstration/display reconciliation.
  • Reconcile issued and received Beame units (TWT only).
  • Compile various reports such as discrepancies, receipts, and outstanding items.
  • Address queries from debtors and creditors.
  • Assist in ordering staff clothing for the store.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the administrative office and filing area.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including overseeing facility cleaning schedules.
  • Undertake general administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Behavior Required: Knowledge/Experience:

  • Completion of Grade 12.
  • Basic understanding of product offerings.
  • Proficiency in computer programs and software, including SAGE.
  • Familiarity with cash management, filing, cash handling, and report generation.
  • Basic knowledge of business operational processes.
  • Awareness of current marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of various payment methods and products, such as debit cards.
  • Access to own transportation and possession of a valid Code 8 Driver’s License.

Package & Remuneration:
