This notice is an announcement for available support staff positions within schools. The Vacancy List is categorized by district and arranged alphabetically based on Circuits and Schools. Contact details for the respective school or circuit office are provided for inquiries.
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS Applications must be physically received at District Offices by 15h00 on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered. The Department bears no responsibility for lost or delayed applications, irrespective of being sent via expedited or courier services. Incomplete or improperly addressed applications will also be disregarded.
PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION Each vacancy requires a separate application form, utilizing the appropriate form:
- Non-educator support staff posts require Form New Z83. All applicants must use the latest version of Form Z83.
- Applicants recommended for appointment must provide a Certificate according to Section 44 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offenders Related Matters) Amendment Act no. 32 of 2007 (NRSO Certificate).
- Certified copies of RSA Identity Document and, if necessary, a Drivers License, dated within the last three months, must be attached. Passports or driver’s licenses are not acceptable substitutes for an Identity Document.
- An updated Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of testimonials and supporting documents must accompany each application. Original documents will not be returned.
- The complete post number of the vacancy and the applicant’s PERSAL number (if already employed by the Government) must be indicated on the application form.
- The envelope should be labeled “APPLICATION FOR ADVERTISED POST – March 2024 Vacancy List”.
- It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure all information provided on the Application Form is accurate, particularly the Post Reference Number. Applications should be directed to the relevant district office as specified at the top of each page of the Vacancy List.
