Rainbow Chicken is seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of General Worker at our Johannesburg facility. As a General Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Production: Work alongside our production team to ensure smooth operations in various aspects of poultry processing, including sorting, packing, and labeling.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Uphold hygiene and sanitation standards by keeping work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Quality Control: Help monitor product quality throughout the production process, reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Equipment Handling: Handle equipment and machinery with care, following operating procedures to prevent accidents and damage.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum education: Grade 10 or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as required.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
