Objective: To prepare faulty equipment for repair at the Rework Centre by conducting pre-testing, disassembly, and cleaning of relevant modules, and occasionally assisting with equipment packaging.
Primary Duties:
- Retrieve faulty equipment from Vendor Management.
- Classify early life failures and defective fittings and allocate them to the appropriate areas of responsibility.
- Perform pre-tests on faulty equipment and attach fault reports and repair orders to the modules.
- Disassemble faulty equipment and clean all relevant components thoroughly.
- Transfer disassembled units to designated shelves for repair by Repair Engineers.
- Collect and package repaired equipment from Engineers’ workstations.
- Ensure proper packaging of equipment following OEM-prescribed guidelines.
- Repackage equipment as necessary after quality checks.
- Conduct final packaging checks as per checklist before transferring to the Central Distribution Warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness in the cleaning and packaging area.
- Fulfill personal training and development objectives within agreed timelines as outlined in the personal development plan.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

- Oversee budget within Logistics.
