The selected candidate will undertake the responsibility of transporting passengers, goods, and documents for Mintek, ensuring adherence to transport laws and safety standards while utilizing motor cars and light commercial vehicles. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate Mintek-owned motor cars and light commercial vehicles in compliance with transport laws.
- Transport Mintek staff and visitors to and from designated destinations, primarily within the Gauteng area, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Optimize routes to maintain high productivity and timely delivery of services.
- Deliver or collect documents, parcels, or goods within the Gauteng area.
- Uphold Mintek’s image through professional conduct with passengers, organizations, and other road users.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper functioning of vehicles through regular maintenance checks and reporting any issues promptly.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Matric qualification.
- Valid code 08 driver’s license (preferably code 10 or EC).
- 3 to 5 years of driving experience.
- Proficiency in English.
- Willingness to work overtime.
- Ability to read street maps and navigate the Gauteng area.
- Familiarity with Mintek’s procedures for collecting and delivering items.
- Strong teamwork, coordination, and customer service skills.
- Flexibility and physical fitness.
