Job Title: Delivery and Collection Driver
Introduction
This role is based at the Minopex Woodmead Office in Johannesburg.
Overview
The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently deliver and collect various goods/items and transport staff in accordance with instructions and operational guidelines, utilizing company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily vehicle checks as per company protocol and promptly report any deviations to the receptionist / pool vehicle supervisor.
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods/documents and staff, adhering to prescribed safety and operational procedures.
Ensure accurate utilization and maintenance of delivery and collection records.
Assist with cycle and stock counts as required by company policies, including ad-hoc counts.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and perform daily housekeeping duties as per organizational standards.
Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and legislative requirements during deliveries.
Occasionally assist with grocery shopping duties.
Qualification Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (Grade 12).
Experience and Skills Requirements:
Valid driver’s license: code B, EB, or C1.
Possession of a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
Successful completion of the Dover Test.
