Duties & Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of the candidate include:
- Collecting mechanical, structural, and electrical equipment from suppliers and transporting them to the works facility or designated sites, ensuring proper documentation.
- Retrieving equipment and materials from sites for disposal or return to the works facility.
- Delivering materials, parts, and equipment to clients and obtaining proof of delivery (POD).
- Safely securing all materials to the vehicle during transport.
- Adhering to instructions regarding the collection and delivery of equipment and materials.
- Ensuring compliance with road transport regulations and laws, maintaining cleanliness and roadworthiness of vehicles and equipment.
- Complying with the Road Transport Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification: Minimum Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Code 10 Driver’s License.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Valid Dangerous Goods registration.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Driver.
