Headquartered in Pomona, Gauteng, our primary processing plant oversees our operations.
Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Executing scheduled pick-ups and deliveries as directed.
- Ensuring safe loading of all cargo during transport, minimizing the risk of stock loss.
- Maintaining the company vehicle’s operational condition and cleanliness.
- Conducting thorough daily vehicle checks, accurately completing log sheets and driver health assessments.
- Verifying the accuracy of loaded stock against pick tickets and delivery notes, signing off accordingly.
- Managing fueling responsibilities for the truck and promptly submitting fuel purchase receipts to the supervisor.
- Supporting inventory tasks as instructed by the storeman/supervisor.
- Participating in mandatory staff orientation and training sessions.
- Adhering strictly to the company’s health and safety protocols.
- Reporting any incidents promptly to the office and completing incident report forms as required.
Desired Experience & Qualifications Qualifications:
- Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate (Hazchem)
Experience:
- Approximately 5 years of driving experience.
- Valid Driver’s License – Code 10 with PrDP
