Driver at Anova Health Institute

Job Summary: Anova, an NGO dedicated to empowering individuals and enhancing lives through healthcare solutions, is seeking a dependable individual to join our team. As a Transportation Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient transportation for both staff and participants, maintaining vehicles, and supporting general office operations.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Safely transport staff to and from clinics, offices, and events.
  • Assist with equipment setup and pack-up at events.
  • Manage equipment and document deliveries as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of client demographics and travel logs.
  • Report any accidents or damages promptly.
  • Plan and coordinate vehicle trips on a daily basis.

Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Fuel and clean vehicles regularly.
  • Ensure vehicles are serviced and well-maintained, meeting safety standards.
  • Prepare accident and incident reports.
  • Coordinate vehicle license renewals with the Office Manager.


  • Assist with office tasks and material deliveries.
  • Arrange for the collection and distribution of goods.

General Office Support:

  • Ensure all training tools are functional.
  • Provide additional support as requested by management.
  • Assist with document photocopying and distribution.



  • Valid Code 10/14 driver’s license.
  • Matric or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP).
  • Defensive Driving Course preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
  • Strong communication skills and local language proficiency.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in defensive driving techniques.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Diligent attention to safety.


  • Willingness to collaborate with Anova staff.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
