Brand And PR Coordinator at Baic SA

Assume full responsibility for maintaining, managing, and operating BAIC South Africa’s official website and social media platforms. Oversee dealer quarterly marketing plans, manage the Brand and PR budget, process payments, and handle daily tasks for the Brand & PR department. Take charge of the quarterly dealer bulletin in collaboration with the marketing agency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing agency to update and maintain the website and social media platforms in alignment with the marketing plan.
  • Monitor various media platforms consistently.
  • Collect quarterly dealer marketing plans from all dealers, review and confirm them, follow up on dealer implementation, and manage marketing support refunds.
  • Manage the annual budget for Branding and PR, including payment processing.
  • Research automotive industry-related information and compile analysis reports.
  • Supervise promotional materials for Brand and PR.
  • Coordinate media test vehicles.
  • Handle data purchase and information updates related to connections with Lighstone and TransUnion.
  • Provide assistance and support the Branding and PR team with various administrative tasks.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  • Hold a Post Matric Certificate or Diploma in a marketing/branding-related field.
  • Possess 3 years of experience or more in the automotive industry.
  • Have knowledge of the South African Automotive market.
  • Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and be proactive.
