Title: Metallurgical Intelligence Administrator Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the existing and expanding Metallurgical Intelligence infrastructure.
- Provide first and second-level support for Metallurgical Intelligence and OSIsoft PI Historian.
- Maintain and update documentation and drawings for PI Historian/Metallurgical Intelligence.
- Develop and configure reporting from Adroit SCADA/PI Historian.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Grade 12 education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electronic/Systems Engineering.
- Proficiency as an OSIsoft PI Power User.
- At least two years of experience in instrumentation and/or programming.
- Knowledgeable in PLCs (Toshiba, Modicon, and Modbus Ethernet), SCADA systems, industrial networking, data handling, Tableau reporting, and PI Datalink.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and be medically fit.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Innovative, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong proficiency in report writing.
