We are seeking a General Assistant to join our team!

As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a pleasant shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers in locating items, answering their questions, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your friendly and helpful demeanor is essential in providing excellent customer service and promoting a positive image of our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate product information, assist customers in selecting items, and demonstrate product usage.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Greet customers warmly, offer assistance, and answer questions with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Inform customers about sales and special offers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Handle cash and card payments, issue receipts, and process refunds and exchanges accurately.
  • Receive deliveries, organize products, and maintain stock records.
  • Stock shelves neatly and ensure products are readily available.
  • Quickly restock items that have sold out.
  • Dispose of store and storeroom waste properly by placing it in the skip bin.
  • Assist with stock takes.
  • Adhere to safety, security, and environmental rules, policies, and procedures, including emergency protocols.
  • Clean designated areas such as the storeroom and kitchen.
