The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a demonstrated ability to adhere to company policies, implement best practices, and exercise sound judgment. This position is available immediately.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive safely and obey traffic laws.
- Respect the rights of other drivers.
- Safely and promptly transport items and documents to the store and clients.
- Maintain vehicle standards and adhere to company equipment and vehicle procedures.
- Conduct a vehicle audit using a checklist before starting duty.
- Drive responsibly to project a professional attitude and comply with safety rules and regulations.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Qualifications required:
- Completed Grade 12
- CIT Certificate
- Grade A – C PSIRA
- Advanced Driving Certificate
Requirements and Experience required:
- South African Citizen
- Valid driver’s license (Code B)
- 5 years of high-risk driving experience
- Good driving record
- Clean criminal history
- Ability to pass Department of Transportation physical requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Adherence to strict policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain high levels of security and control
- Ability to maintain situational awareness at all times
- Knowledge of Safety, Health, Risk, Quality, and Environmental concepts, theories, and principles
- Punctuality and reliability
- Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy
- Willingness to travel extensively and work overtime
