Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Checker. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying and inspecting products to ensure accuracy and compliance with shipment documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and inspect products to ensure they match the invoice or delivery note
- Check shipment documents for accuracy and consistency
- Monitor the loading process to confirm the correct products are dispatched
- Ensure that the items picked for dispatch match the items boxed, avoiding shortages or over-picking
- Conduct searches of female staff at the warehouse entry and exit points
- Ensure adherence to warehouse security and operational procedures
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse environment with a focus on checking and control
- Prior experience in the security industry is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
