Purpose of the Role
Medirite Plus Olivedale is seeking a Stock Controller to ensure optimal stock management. This role involves accurately receiving deliveries, facilitating the smooth flow of goods between the trading store, distribution center, and suppliers, and maintaining proper inventory control. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in inventory management and a background in the retail industry.

Job Objectives
- Accurately receive goods by verifying deliveries against invoices.
- Capture invoices promptly and accurately into the system.
- Ensure all received goods match invoices in terms of quantity, variant, and condition.
- Process returns to suppliers in compliance with company SOPs.
- Maintain an organized and orderly storeroom.
- Assist in managing and controlling high-risk stock.
- Identify and report stock discrepancies to management.
- Return unordered or damaged goods and process credit notes as per company policy.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy boxes and offloading pallets.
- Assist with various operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Experience: At least 1+ years in a retail/FMCG stock control role.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Strong background in retail/FMCG and stock management principles.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective problem-solving and time management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Office 365).
- Familiarity with SAP systems.
- Strong numeracy and communication skills.
